Overview
Kickoff Live, also shown as Kickoff: Live Score, is a football live score app for iPhone and Android. This policy explains what information the app stores locally, what third-party services may collect, and how advertising and consent choices work.
Kickoff Live does not require an account, login, subscription, payment, chat, or user-generated content feature to use the live score experience.
Information We Collect
Kickoff Live does not ask you to create an account or provide an email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, camera data, or microphone recordings.
The app may process or store the following information to provide its features:
- App preferences, such as selected leagues, followed competitions, filters, or default views
- Cached football data, such as fixtures, scores, standings, teams, and match details
- Consent and advertising state needed to remember your privacy and ad choices
- Standard device and network information needed for the app, ads, and football data requests to work
Kickoff Live does not sell personal information.
Information Collected by Third-Party Services
Kickoff Live uses third-party services to provide football data and advertising.
- API-Football: Kickoff Live uses API-Football to fetch fixtures, live scores, standings, teams, and match details. Requests may include standard network information, such as your IP address, so the provider can return the requested data.
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK: Kickoff Live uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google may collect or receive data such as identifiers, coarse location inferred from IP address, usage data, advertising data, diagnostics, and device information. Google handles this data under its own policies.
You can review Google's privacy information at Google Privacy Policy and AdMob information at AdMob policies and restrictions.
Advertising and Tracking
Kickoff Live shows ads through Google AdMob. Ads may be contextual or personalized, depending on your region, device settings, Google settings, and consent choices.
On iOS, Kickoff Live may request App Tracking Transparency permission using Apple's tracking permission prompt for personalized ads. If you do not allow tracking, ads may still be shown, but they may be less personalized.
You can limit ad tracking through your device settings, including iOS tracking settings and Android advertising ID settings. Android users can learn about resetting or deleting the advertising ID in Google's advertising ID controls. You can also manage some Google ad preferences through Google My Ad Center.
Consent Choices
Kickoff Live uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent messaging where required. UMP may ask for privacy or advertising choices based on your location and applicable law, such as rules in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or certain U.S. states.
Where platform or Google controls allow it, you can reset or change ad consent choices. You may also limit ad tracking through iOS or Android settings. Google describes UMP as a privacy and messaging tool for managing privacy choices in its AdMob UMP documentation.
Local Storage and Caching
Kickoff Live may use local device storage or cache to keep the app fast and remember your choices. This may include:
- Followed leagues or competitions
- App preferences and filters
- Cached football data from API-Football
- Consent state and ad-related state used by Google AdMob or UMP
Local storage helps reduce network usage, improve loading speed, and keep your selected football experience available between sessions.
Data Retention
Preferences and cached data may remain on your device until they are replaced, reset, cleared through app or device settings, or removed when you uninstall the app. Consent and ad-related state may remain as needed to remember your choices, subject to platform and Google controls.
You can remove local app data by:
- Resetting app preferences or followed leagues where the app provides that option
- Clearing app storage through your device settings
- Uninstalling the app from your device
Children's Privacy
Kickoff Live is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or user-generated content feature. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review the request.
International Transfers
Kickoff Live is available through global app stores and uses third-party services that may process data in countries other than where you live. For example, API-Football and Google may process data on servers located in different countries. Those services handle transferred data under their own privacy and compliance practices.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If it changes, the updated version will be published with a new "Last updated" date.
Security
Kickoff Live relies on device platform protections, local app storage, and third-party service safeguards. No software can guarantee absolute security, but the app is designed to keep app preferences local where practical and to avoid account-based personal data collection.
